As an active church community, we offer creche facilities for young families, during services, and various other weekday activities

Weekday activities

There are several weekday, evening activities, below. These group activities, have variable timings, dependant on other Church events.

Sunday Morning Creche

We have a Sunday morning creche facility, in our creche room. We have volunteers who comply with legal requirements, and ratios, allowing parents to enjoy morning worship. Parents are welcome to remain with children if they wish.

XTB - Exploring the Bible

Our Sunday School is called XTB, and follows the regular format of Biblical teaching, for ages 6-12 yrs. Bible stories, music and drama, are the key elements, in making Sunday School instructive and fun

Bible Class

This class is targetted at teenagers who are given the opportunity to discuss subjects, from a Christian perspective, and to be guided by a committed Christian mentor.

Youth Fellowship

Youth Fellowship takes place on a Sunday evening, where young people will have an opportunity to engage with youth leaders, in an informal environment, sometimes with hot chocolate or pizza. There will be discussion and debate on issues affecting teenagers.

Encounter Youth Club

The Encounter Youth Club, meets in our Church Halls, on a Saturday evening.  There are two groups, juniors at 7 pm to 8.30 pm and seniors from 8.30 pm to 10 pm. There are many activities from 5-a-side to Xbox and board games, or just chilling out. We have guest speakers who will relate Christian themes, through Bible stories or Christian experiences. Opportunities may arise to undertake Duke of Edinburgh Awards, and we have an annual weekend away.

Chess Club

Our Chess Club has been steadily growing, in recent times. There is a young people, after school chess club, and an adults club, in the evenings. There are opportunities for the novice to improve their game, and the more experienced to compete with other clubs.

Toddle Time

Primary school girls meet together to do arts and crafts and don’t have any distractions as they build relationships and engage in Bible stories.

Bowling Club

There is an avid bowling club, using our high-quality facilities. A warm welcome awaits anyone who wants to enjoy the game, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The Troop

The Troop is a popular opportunity, for men and boys, to tuck into a hearty hotel breakfast and get to strengthen friendships. Invited guest speakers then regale the group about their life experiences and testimonies, concluding at a time which allows us to resume our Saturday morning family activities. 

House Groups

There are a number of House groups, where participants get the opportunity to engage with others, in a relaxed environment. Discussion of Bible passages and debate, enable people to expand and deepen their faith in an atmosphere which promotes openness and confidence.
